This past Sunday, the father and son team of John and Justin Langro ran out 30 miles south east of Jones Inlet for some shark fishing. They hooked up and fought this fish for almost 2 and a half hours. During the fight, the fish died and it sunk to the bottom. They had to reel the fish up from the bottom one inch at a time which took them another hour. When they finally got the fish boat side, there was no way they could get it in the boat and so they had no option but to tow it home at 5 knots.
Causeway customers John and Justin stopped in the shop in the a.m. for some fresh bunker and landed this 400+ lb.’er!!!
Amazing fish and great job guys.
